About Dr Blazer
Dr. Blazer is a 1988 graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry. She is a member of the Arizona State Dental Association and the American Dental Association. She is also a member of the Scottsdale/Paradise Valley Study Club. She loves creating beautiful smiles through cosmetic dentistry, and her walls are lined with before-and-after photos of satisfied customers. She is married and has twins in college at ASU. When not "down in the mouth", she enjoys running, hiking in our beautiful desert, reading, cooking and playing the piano. Her cattle dog loves to run with her and even goes with her on 10 mile runs in the wintertime! She loves to laugh and have fun with our patients, and finds it especially rewarding to “win over” those fearful patients who never thought they’d say they like coming to our office!
A personal message from Dr. Blazer
I know that going to the dentist can be scary and stressful. Many of our patients come to us for the first time having had bad experiences in the past in other dental offices. Or they've listened to "horror stories" from their friends and coworkers. By the time they work up enough courage to come in for an appointment, they're already in pain. Unfortunately, emergency dentistry is more expensive and oftentimes more uncomfortable than routine care. Please don't wait until it hurts to call us. I promise you this: you will be greeted by warm and friendly people when you walk through my door. I will listen to your concerns and desires and together we will work out a plan to meet your needs. I want to build a long term relationship with you and your family. If you are fearful, we will discuss ways to make your visit more comfortable. If your finances are limited, we will find a way to spread treatment out over several months or years. Whatever has kept you from having regular dental care, you can be certain that postponing treatment is not the answer. I look forward to meeting you in person to discuss your specific needs.

My son's wedding day! I was born is southern California, grew up in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, and married my high school sweetheart! We have been married over thirty four years and have two children. My oldest son lives in San Francisco with his new wife, married in October 2011 and my youngest daughter still goes to school (which I am sure will be a life-long career) wanting to major in Political Science, at the moment. I have been in the dental/oral surgery/orthodontic field over 29 years. We came to Arizona in 1995 and currently live in Cave Creek, which we love! I enjoy the outdoors, camping, hiking, golf and skiing, reading, yard and pool. Love being a part of Dr. Blazer’s team, she is so easy to work with and for, has a great caring attitude and we have very enjoyable days at our office with our great patients (Dr. Blazer has the nicest patients)! |

Vacation in Hawaii with my husband!
I am an Arizona native and have worked in dentistry since 1980. I worked as a dental assistant for ten years before becoming a hygienist in 1994. I have worked for Dr. Blazer since 1994. I have a BS degree from Northern Arizona University. I am married to Geoff and we have a dog named Frasier. We love to take him on hikes around our beautiful Arizona terrain. After all these years I still love dentistry and enjoy working in Dr. Blazer’s office. Many of my patients over the years have become good friends! |

I moved to Arizona, with my husband, 4 1/2 years ago. We moved here from Birmingham, MI. Our 3 children and 3 grandchildren were living in various parts of the country. I have a degree in Psychology from Oakland University. I have worked in the medical/dental field for the past 25 years. I have enjoyed working at Dr. Blazer's office since 2006. Before moving to AZ, I worked at a dental office in West Bloomfield, MI for six years. I enjoy both the staff and the patients at Dr. Blazer's office. I most enjoy the "customer service" aspect of Dr. Blazer's practice. When not at work I try to take advantage of all the wonderful outdoor activities available in AZ. I enjoy reading, hiking, tennis and spending as much time as possible with my family. |

Mother's Day with my "main squeeze"!
I have worked with Dr. Blazer since 2006 and have been a dental hygienist since 1973. I hold an AA degree from the University of Florida and an AS degree in dental hygiene from St.Petersburg College. I was raised in Miami, Florida, and lived in the Tampa Bay area and the Atlanta area before moving to Arizona. I have been married for 39 years, (yikes!). My son, daughter-in-law and two young granddaughters recently moved here from Pennsylvania. It is wonderful to see them frequently. I enjoy cooking, traveling, working in my yard and participating in a couples movie club with my husband. |

AmyMy name is Amy. I was born in Detroit and moved to Phoenix with my family in my senior year of high school. I graduated from Phoenix College Dental Hygiene School in 1988. I am lucky to say I have been working with Dr. Blazer since 1994! Where does the time go? I have two beautiful children, a son and a daughter, who are the light of my life. When I’m not being a hygienist or driving kids somewhere, I enjoy cooking, hiking, reading and I LOVE CARDINALS FOOTBALL! Working in Dr. Blazer’s office isn’t really like “work”. It’s relaxed and friendly but professional and state-of-the-art all in one! |

Originally from southern California, I relocated with McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Company to Arizona in 1985. I worked there for 10 years in Contract Administration and Proposal Management for the Apache Helicopter program. My interest in dentistry led me to a new career in 2002. I have worked as Dr. Blazer’s dental assistant since then and feel lucky to be a part of her terrific team. We are all friends and share the opportunity to work with our wonderful patients while caring for their dental needs. I live in Scottsdale with my wonderful husband Scott and Max the Cat. Max is a young Maine Coon kitty who thinks he’s a puppy (or perhaps a human) When I’m not working I love the outdoors, walking, swimming, games and spending time with my husband, family and friends. |
