Dentures and Partial Dentures
If you have lost all or some of your teeth, whether from gum disease, tooth decay or injury, full or partial dentures can replace your missing teeth, and your smile! You’ll be able to eat and speak, two things that most people take for granted until they lose teeth prematurely.
A full denture replaces the teeth and provides support for the cheeks and lips. Without support from the denture, facial muscles sag, making a person appear older. The good thing about dentures is that they can be made to closely resemble your natural teeth, with little to no change in your appearance if desired.

A partial denture involves using the existing teeth as anchors for a denture that replaces the missing teeth. The supporting, or anchor, teeth must be strong enough to support the denture. A partial denture will typically snap into place onto the teeth, and may involve gum tissue colored or metal attachments.
